I made a model with lines creating a ruled-surface for university. Pearls show the points where the lines cut each other.
When I took the pictures of the model for university, I saw some very beautiful details coming out in the light, so here are three pictures of my model.

Once more so much attention to detail. 
The thread feels too fibrous for the exactitude you may have been going for with the crisscrossing lines in space (fishing wire or any other coated wire may have given something sharper and smoother by contrast), even still, I hope this was received well.
